Yummy Healthy Smoothies
Orange - Blueberry SMOOTHIE
12 oz. frozen blueberries, unthawed
or 2 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
8 oz. vanilla low fat yogurt
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup 1%milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 scoops of vanilla protein powder of your choice
For a healthy twist add 1/2 teaspoon of flax seed oil. You wont even taste it.
Blend all ingredients together blender until smooth. Serve right away.
STRAWBERRY - BANANA SMOOTHIE
1 banana 4 strawberries
1/2 cup 1% milk
1/2 cup apple juice
2 scoops of vanilla protein powder of your choice
For a healthy twist add 1/2 teaspoon of flax seed oil. You wont even taste it.
Put all ingredients into blender. Blend until smoothie consistency is reached!
PEACH SMOOTHIE
1 cup frozen peach slices
1/2 banana, sliced
3 Tablespoons nonfat vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup orange juice or apple juice
sugar or splenda to taste
2 scoops of vanilla protein powder of your choice
for a healthy touch add 1/2 teaspoon of flax seed oil. You wont even taste it.
Put all ingredients into the blender and chop and then puree for a few seconds until it is delightfully smooth
