Jill’s Fit Tip Tuesday ~ Chew Gum!

Has anyone else noticed all of the flavors of gum coming out! Wow! Talk about selection. Last March they came out with the Extra Fruit Sensations. Yummy gum! My favorite was the strawberry banana and the sweet watermelon. I love gum. I find it to be the perfect way to curb my sweet tooth. When all of the fruity gum started coming out I was in heaven.

The other day I was in check out isle when something caught my eye. I saw a new gum out from Wrigley. I could not believe it as I read the word Strawberry Shortcake. I looked over and saw Key Lime Pie, then I saw the one that I just could not believe. Yes! Mint Chocolate Chip. That’s one of my favorite ice cream flavors. How could they put it in a gum?
I bought all 3. All of them are good but my favorite is the chocolate mint chip.
Give gum a try when you are just craving something sweet. It really does work. šŸ™‚

Northwest Nazarene University Wellness Fair

My friend Linda from Powerhouse Boot Camp. The fair turned out great and I met so many wonderful people. Always committed to bringing awareness to type 2 diabetes, wellness fairs are a great way to educate the public.

Mrs. Idaho International Pageant!

I had the biggest pay off last night when I handed the award for being Miss Teen Idaho International 2nd runner up. I took it as a wonderful compliment!! I had a good laugh. I owe it to all of those years of staying out of the sun and the use of microdermabrasion and my wonderful sponsor Bella Royale Skin Care.

It was a fun night and now I am ready to put my pageant shoes away and get back to business bringing awareness to type 2 diabetes. With upcoming meetings with government officials and interview to be featured in a diabetes magazine, NNU’s health fair along with being the key note speaker at the Humphreys Diabetes Center for the upcoming weight loss challenge. I have my work cut out for me.

This is what I love about my life is helping other and helping them in their journey to a healthier happier life. Thank you to all my readers for your support kind e-mails and comments. I know I have not been able to get back to you as soon as I would like to but know I appreciate you!
Thank you to my supportive husband who I have been married to 16 years now and to my 3 wonderful Children who I adore.

Tonight I was honored to be the guest speaker at the Anytime Fitness Biggest Loser Contest educational night. I shared my story and helped get the contestants motivated to begin their journey. My fitness trainer Rebecca Carington and Rick Johns from Discount Sport Nutrition also spoke to the group of contestants. It was a great night and I was glad I was invited to speak. šŸ™‚
