What’s Cooking???

Having Diabetes I have learned it’s better to plan out what my family is eating Monday.  Having a plan helps me know what I am making in advance and so I won’t be tempted to just throw together a not so healthy meal because I am in a hurry.  I don’t always get to eat what my family is eating but most of the time if I make a plan I do.  We have had Taco Sunday for years.  It is easy and I make and freeze the ground turkey in advance for 4 weeks at a time so all I have to do is defrost the meat.  I love Taco Sunday because it is a tradition now.  At least one of the nights we have have healthy breakfast burritos for dinner because again it is a easy dinner to put together.  Planning out my week on Monday has made my life so much easier.  If you don’t do this give it a try and see if it works for you.
