Robyn Webb Will Be A Guest On My Blog!!!

Meet Robyn Webb! I have gotten to know this talented lady and am so impressed by her dedication to good health. I am really excited that she will be a guest on my blog. Keep your eyes out for more on Robyn. For now here are some details about her.
I’ve been a passionate advocate of cooking well and eating wisely for most of my life. Because of health problems within my own family, notably diabetes, I learned early on the importance of a balanced, healthful approach to eating and decided to pursue degrees in the field. I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition, and Florida State University with a Masters of Science degree in Nutrition. I have since devoted my energy to educating people with diabetes about how to facilitate the daily challenge of managing their disease through creative, healthful meal planning. I also serve as the Food Editor of Diabetes Forecast magazine, published by the American Diabetes Association.

In collaboration with the American Diabetes Association, I have published numerous award-winning cookbooks which teach people with diabetes how to maintain healthful diets with food that is satisfying and flavorful. I currently make regular TV appearances on local TV stations and serve as an nutrition expert/personality for diabetes conventions for The American Diabetes Association, The American Dietetic Association, The American Association of Diabetes Educators and The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

I also own and run A Pinch Of Thyme Cooking School in Alexandria, VA. Each year, we teach over 1000 students the fine art of healthy cooking with less effort with classes such as: Low Fat/High Flavor Cooking, Vegetarian Cooking, Tuscan Cuisine, Cooking for One, Cooking for the Family, Cooking in 30 Minutes or Less and many more. I also offer cooking lessons in privacy of my clients’ homes, and at several local establishments such as Open Kitchen and Sur la Table.

Mainly, I just love teaching others how to eat healthy and nutritious meals without sacrificing taste, while providing useful cooking tips.
